Hey All,

Don’t forget — 4.5 Miles of March Madness is tomorrow, March 9 at 9 AM. It starts at the FISH HATCHERY side of the parkway. We still have a few long-sleeved tech shirts for walk-ups. Race day registration is from 7:30 – 8:45 AM.

Thank you to everyone who came out for all of our events this year, including our biggest, Lights in the Parkway 5K on 28-November. Congratulations to Nathan Horst, the 2012 Points Champion!

Don’t forget to register for our last 5K-ish on December 15 — Santa, Will Run for Beer. It’ll be a great time!

Hey All!

The points totals have been updated to include the 7-miler. We have a bunch of fun events coming this fall/winter. Oktoberfest 5K-ish is on October 6th and the price goes up $5 on 9/22 so get your registration in now…always a fun event. Registration is also open for Run Like Hell 6K (long sleeved t-shirts this year!) the Emmaus Fall Classic 3.5 Miler and Lights in the Parkway 5K. And don’t forget about Santa – Will Run for Beer on December 15th!

Zombie Run 5K @ Dorney on September 15

Maybe some confusion on the Zombie event — all running participants are the Zombies – come dressed to impress! There will be “humans” entering the course with flags throughout the course — any participant dressed as a zombie can grab a flag and flags = prizes! Spread the word, its going to be a great time!

Thank you to everyone who braved the cold and wind on Sunday morning and made The Fast and The Flurry-ous a successful run! We would also like to thank JBN for hosting us.

Next up is our first 5K-ish of the year on February 25th in West Allentown. Come on out and help us celebrate Mardi Gras in style! Also, our next race is on Saturday, March 10th at the Lehigh Parkway Fish Hatchery. We’re excited to be adding on the 4.5 miles of March Madness to our series this year. Hey all!

Looking forward to a lot of fun tomorrow!! All check-in and race day registration is at Roosevelts 21st @ 21 Elizabeth Street, Bethlehem from 11AM – 12PM. Everyone starts at the same place.

Everyone ends at Starters Riverport by 3 PM! Don’t forget costumes are required!!!

Lights in the Parkway Packet Pick-Up

Packet Pick-up for the Lights in the Parkway Race on November 30th will have packet pick-up at Schuylkill Valley Sports in the South Mall off of Lehigh Street in Allentown at the following times -

Sunday November 27th from 1pm-4pm

Tuesday November 29th from 4pm-8pm

Wednesday November 30th (Race Day) from 4pm-6:30pm

Due to unsafe conditions – Most of Allentown is still without power and there are fallen tree branches around the course – the race will be moved to next Saturday November 5th at 6pm at Cedar Beach Park.

The Oktoberfest 5K-ish is this Saturday 10/1…Rain or Shine….hopefully shine!

Check-in is from 11 AM – 12 PM at the bar you selected during registration

12 PM – 3 PM — Run — receive raffle tickets at each participating bar

Important Update for May 8th 5K

Some good news and some bad news concerning the upcoming 5K which was supposed to be held at Coca Cola Park…

There was a communication breakdown between the Run Lehigh Valley Staff and the Ironpigs organization that resulted in them canceling/changing our event…I will be happy to go into it in more detail if you are curious – just find me at the race and I will have a lot to say!

That’s the bad – now for the good

Pitchers Pub on Union Boulevard was gracious enough to help us out at a moment’s notice to be the gathering place for race-day registration, packet pickup and most importantly toilets. We will be using the parking lot at Pitchers Pub and be set up there for all race day activities. The course will start/end across the street and the course will be very similar to the original course we had set – less the chance to be in the stadium. Please park at Pitchers (570 Union Boulevard, Allentown, PA)

We understand that a lot of people were looking forward to the chance to start and end in the stadium and trust us – we were too. To help make amends for this change in addition to the game ticket and t-shirt you receive with registration – we are also adding some cash raffles available to everyone and offering all runners 50% off the Sportsfest 5K registration.

Hey All!

Tomorrow is the Spring Fling 5K at Lehigh Parkway — Race Day registration is still available from 7:30 – 8:45 AM. The race starts at 9 AM. Parking will be ‘on the hill’ near the barn.
